Maybe the slo-mo shows different, but in real time the screen seemed to be all “chicken wing” and not much body. Gave me a Homer Simpson “Doh” moment. Not the smartest play.I'm not sure we disagree. I thought that foul was the most obvious of the day, while the others were mostly closer calls. What I was disputing in general was the announcer's critique that Brink showed bad defensive discipline. I think the issue is more nuanced than that--especially when learning that 3/5 of the fouls were on help defense and not on her primary target. What this means is that Brink fouled out largely because other players could not complete their assignments. I did not realize that myself until looking at them one by one.
She took a couple of tumbles/slips to the floor and that was kind of scary.

Especially six seconds after Key’s second foul. Would’ve had a significant advantage on the floor but for that cheap foul.
