Lexie was the difference in winning many games, but her lack of offense tonight was the biggest missing link in this game.

Yeah, I think they were 14/15 in the fourth quarter. And early on, when we were going back and forth, we kept missing. There’s a lot we can point to, but at the end of the day, UConn just played better. Their turnovers kept us in it, but the better team won tonight.

I appreciate the fight and grit at the end. But we lost this game because everyone had a poor offensive night except Jones (and even she went 0-5 on some ill advised 3's). We needed someone else besides Jones and Brink to score but everyone else was ice cold.

I don't have the heart to do a post-mortem tonight. But I so appreciate the enjoyment this team has given me this season, and I will miss Lexie, Lacie, Wilson, Jerome, and Hamilton. Thank you team, for giving us 32 happy endings, a Pac-12 undefeated season, A Pac-12 tournament trophy, and for being the classiest group in the country. I will miss you all and will look forward to watching Tara work her magic to reconstruct the team next year!

Agreed and credit to CT for hitting big 3’s - I believe Westbrook had 3 earlier then Williams had 2 later. That was 15 points.

Bad time for Lexie to have a bad game. Nobody stepped up to fill the vacuum. We defended well enough to win, but our offense was awol.
Don't know why we didn't foul their big with some 15 seconds left. Instead, more second ticked off and a better FT shooter was fouled.
Yukon played great defense on us, hit enough 3 pointers, and made their FTs at the end. Hate it, but they outplayed us.

So many missed shots, questionable shot decisions and our inability/refusal to get the ball inside, especially in the second half, makes me frustrated and angry rather than anything else.
UConn played better and deserved to win but I hope Boston can find redemption and win Sunday night.

I think we were trying to foul, but we weren’t fouling hard enough, and the refs didn’t call it. The way the game was going, she would have made both free throws anyway.

This game makes me even more angry about losing out on Kiki Rice. In the final four, the defenses are so good and you need shot makers who can create their own shot. Our defense was just as good and Bueckers made some really tough baskets. Jones and Brink can do that but having another playmaker would help.

I'm a very sore loser, especially when it's vs UConn on ESPN. And no, I won't be watching the Bird and Taurasi show.
Do I remember correctly that we opened the 4Q with Brink, Belibi and Prechtel all on the bench, and Iriafen our lone post? Good grief. I suppose at that point Tara had to try something, anything.
Until those last couple of possessions when Brink missed/stumbled, we were in it. But gosh, we had so many opportunities all night.
It occurred to me during this game that we were the better team. But just not tonight.
Yes, a good season, but shooting bricks on national TV to end it was not a good way to remember it, especially when they played so hard.
Do I remember correctly that we opened the 4Q with Brink, Belibi and Prechtel all on the bench, and Iriafen our lone post? Good grief. I suppose at that point Tara had to try something, anything.

Yes, but Lexie will graduate after co-terming so she will already have a master’s and I think she has a future in the WNBA. Lacie doesn’t have a professional future, but I think she is ready to move on.

That will mystify me for a long time. It wasn't like our smaller lineup was lighting it up offensively
