She seems like a terrific person, and I REALLY hope she makes it, but I've thought from the beginning that #6 was too high. She's an excellent defensive player and disrupter for players 6 ft and under, so long as they aren't super quick. But, she has never had a consistent go to offensive move. Her 3 pt is totally inconsistent, and she never developed a midrange jump shot or floater. Her main choice is a streak to the basket, but half the time her layup is too strong. Plus, there are more agile bigs in the pros to defend.
Maybe they keep her around and tell her to shoot 500 3's a day. That seems like the most productive road to offensive improvement.
Why would she be defending a big? Wouldn't she be defending a 2? I'm not sure I see her as a 3 in the pros. Or are you saying she's a 'tweener defensively?
No, there would be more agile bigs to defend her layup is what I meant.
