The next step for the women's golf team is the NCAA regional tournament to be played May 9-11. Since Stanford is a regional host, they are assigned to play at Stanford. The NCAA announced the rest of the field today. The list below includes the NCAA regional seeding and the Golfweek ranking.
The top 4 schools after 54 holes of play advance to the NCAA tournament May 20-25 in Scottsdale.
The big question for Stanford is whether Rachel Heck can play. She did not tee it up at the P12 tournament last week. It has been reported that she is recovering from mono.
Other notable regional assignments:
San Jose State is #1 seed and Washington is #8 in Ann Arbor
Oregon State is #5 seed in Nashville
ASU is #2 seed in Stillwater
Oregon is #1 seed and Arizona is #4 in Albuquerque
UCLA is #2 seed in Tallahassee
Nationally, Stanford is #1, Oregon is #2, San Jose State is #6, ASU is #7 and USC is #8.
