I think the NCAA result was pretty indicative of how Stanford played all season. They were a top 20 team and 2nd or 3rd best in the P12. But there was a big gap between Stanford and the top 8. The team never really got anything going.

However Michael Thorbjornsen is one of the 6 low scorers not on a top 15 team so he will be playing tomorrow's 4th round. He's in the next to last group, starting on the 10th hole at 12:12.

I can't speak to their other sports, and sure, UT softball is one of eight teams with a chance to win the national championship in OKC, but I will be stunned if Texas wins the softball national championship this year.
