UCLA is looking decidedly off during the first half against Bowling Green -- trailing 17-7 after a blocked punt, a DTR interception and a muffed kick-off return. I expect the Bruins to come back, but so far Chip and Co. look pretty dicey.

Incredible ending to the UNC -- APP State game. The Mountaineers scored 40 points in the 4th quarter, but failed to tie the game when a 2-pt. conversion attempt with 9 seconds left went south. Final: 63-61 UNC. Mack Brown sitting at 2-0 with the Tar Heels.

Georgia looks that good. They have been able to move the ball at will. The Ducks have produced some good offense, but those two picks were deadly. Nix got greedy on the second one.

Georgia looks that good. They have been able to move the ball at will. The Ducks have produced some good offense, but those two picks were deadly. Nix got greedy on the second one.

Thought it was interesting that Georgia only had one transfer come this year. Second lowest in nation. The only team besides the Service Academy‘s with no transfers coming in was Clemson.

It’s easy to say now, but I never felt Oregon had a remote chance against Georgia. But this Utah-Florida game is a different story, and it’s a big deal for the Pac-12.
Utah is much better than Oregon, and Florida is much worse than Georgia. The Utes are rightly a 2.5 favorite.

Totally agree. Oregon's offense is suspect and then facing an NFL caliber Bulldog Defense. Ducks got destroyed; never in the game.
Going into Week 2, Ducks might fall all the way out of Top 25.
I believe UTAH is in mid-season form with a LOT of talent returning.
Always tough going on the road in SEC.
U$C is not paying attention to their defense; they don't care -- the score with Rice should be 21-21.
Troy got a cheap 93yd Pick 6 when a good pass went through a receiver's hands to a DB at the 10.
Lincoln Riley actually shows a Zero-RB backfield at U$C... sacrilege.
Plummer ran Kal*Suck's offense efficiently, 23-35 for 268 yds, 3 TDs on UC Davis. For the win, 34-13.

Shaw says he like EJ as both a run and pass threat. Austin Jones might not have been the #1 RB had he stayed (?)
And, Jones wants to go bowling to move up the draft ladder. Stanford is not a ticket to a bowl right now.
Plus, I believe, this year's offense will be pass first -- because of McKee and a WR/TE Corp that goes 8 deep.
And I think this O-line is much better at pass blocking than run blocking. I think A.Jones sees all that.
