Stanford up 2-0 top of the first. Moore with an RBI double off the wall. Watching on espn+
Good guys up 4-3 after 5 innings. Dugan has 6 Ks.
Moore also hit a 2-run HR.

IIRC our starting pitchers combined for 30 K’s this series. Scott 12, Lim 10, Dugan 8. Doing this from memory, corrections welcome (and likely).

TBD. Rice is not a good team.
#protip Enjoy the moment.
I'll enjoy wins against good teams.
What happened to rice baseball? My last memory of Rice baseball is losing to them in the championship of the college world series. Obviously that was over 20 years ago but I thought they were good in the last decade too.
ETA: looks like their head coach retired in 2018 and everything went downhill from there.

And it is now on P12N. 0-0 B1.
#24 Aidan Keenan making his first start.
And, once again, the Pac-12 Network starts a game on one channel, then — with no warning — switches to another. ESPN+ does this, too. Why do they hate their subscribers?

Still scoreless after 2 but Matt Scott struck out the side B2.
Cort MacDonald hit an RBI single T3 and Scott K’s his fourth straight Husky to start B3. We lead 1-0.
Scott has 5 straight Ks (only the 4th was a “backwards K”). He’s dealing.
Ok, his K streak stopped at 5 (F7 for the last out) so I will stop updating here. Up 1-0 after 3 full innings.

Heckuva game winding down in Seattle on Saturday. Top of the ninth, Stanford has runners on first and second, nobody out. Cobb lats down a terrific bunt, barely out at first, the runners advance. One of the few times I’ve ever approved of a sacrifice but. No more details, but Stanford‘s fourth run scored on a sac fly by Moore. Umpires took forever, deciding whether Hott had left third base early on the sac fly. Finally decided he hadn’t. 4-2 Stanford going into the bottom of the ninth.
