A couple of clown car points there for Stanford. Transition passing and control on digs has not been good today. The ceiling doesn’t help, but that isn’t all of it.

I don't think you can blame it on travel every time a Stanford team loses to a team on the East Coast. Francis played well and she traveled.

Nope. Shoulda won this match. Had 5 match points to do so in set 4. I go back to my analysis after the Pitt loss, has our team improved at all throughout this season and if so, in what areas? I haven't seen it. Maybe our team ceiling just isn't that high this year.

Yep. Sure it CAN be tiring, but it's always exciting to visit a new team which also happens to be good. Imo, excitement usually trumps fatigue.

Yep. Sure it CAN be tiring, but it's always exciting to visit a new team which also happens to be good. Imo, excitement usually trumps fatigue.

Their top player hit .405 on 54 attempts; our top player hit .158 on 38 attempts. The fact that we were able to almost win, as opposed to getting blown out in 3, tells me the TEAM wasn’t playing too badly.
