Pretty good run for the Phillies. Steve Carlton went in in 1994 as a Phillie. I was 9 years old when he went 27-10, and the rest of the Phillies went 32-87, finishing last in the division.
Rumor I heard is that the Giants turned down a trade offer of Steve Carlton for Bobby Bonds in 1974. Carlton led the league in strikeouts that year. Bonds had led the league in strikeouts -- of the swinging variety -- the year before.

Alright, so the Chiefs did not three peat, which means no NFL team has. However, two individual players have won three consecutive Super Bowls. Who are they?

If the Chiefs had won, I would guess from 35-45 would be 3x consecutive champs.

Ken Norton is correct; he won the Super Bowl in 1992 and 1993 as a Cowboy (boo) and 1994 as a Niner (yeah!). Now the second one...

To be fair, the second one is a bit obscure; Eagles back-up offensive lineman Darien Kinnard. Kinnard was with KC in the 2022 and 2023 seasons, serving appearing in 1 game in 2022 and being a practice squad player (but still getting a ring) last year. He saw action in two games for the Eagles this season.

We heard a lot last week about Kansas City's attempt to become the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.
However, there already have been two occasions on which a team won three straight NFL championships. Which teams were they, which years did they three-peat, who were their coaches, and what were their home stadiums?

I would guess Halas' Bears in the 1920s or 1930s, Soldier Field. Cleveland Browns immediately post AAFC-NFL merger with Automatic Otto Graham, GOAT, late 1940s and 1950s. Paul Brown. No idea what their stadium was called.
If it wasn't the Bears and Browns, I'd say Giants or Eagles.
