Paywalled. Perhaps you can provide a summary?

Ashton Daniels was just named starting QB for Florida State.
Put a glide in your stride and a dip in your hip.

That was my first reaction but maybe he is better than what he's shown in the past. It kind of feels like whoever is their QB is just marking time for Norvell's buyout to drop. Neither of my teams play FSU this year unless in the ACC title game, so however good (or not) they want to be is fine by me.
If you run a through-line through the 'Noles recent performance, it dropped off a cliff the minute Jordan Travis suffered that gruesome injury against their late season cupcake, like they were in the SEC. FSU still finished undefeated beating Florida and then L'Ville to capture the ACC but didn't get a playoff berth. I think that killed them as a program. They lost to UGA by sixty million points and then won 2 games in 2025 (Charleston Southern and....Cal!) and 5 games last year. They even lost to Stanford. How bad is that?

David Bailey second overall pick in the NFL draft. J-E-T-S. Good luck to him.

Wow...USB with 2 first round running backs chosen. Only the second time it's happened? Arkansas in 2008 had McFadden and Felix Jones drafted in the first round.

In 2005 Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams (both from Auburn) were not only both drafted in the first round but in the first five selections (#2 and #5).
