The theory that the coaches are trying to transition to Hogan is not exactly disproven. But, if that's the plan, my god, rip the band-aid, guys. That effort, right there? Not acceptable.
I'm abroad, so I cannot actually see the game directly and have been following them through the internet. But, my impression is that Hogan has been coming in to run the "Hogan Package" of plays. If that is the case, I wouldn't consider a QB coming in to run only a few limited plays a real extended look. We need to see what Nottingham or Hogan can do running something close to the full package (or, whatever they can handle, given the fact that Nunes has been given the lion's share of the reps with the first team).
