Have to question some of the offensive play calling in the second quarter.  Taylor basically doesn't touch the ball almost all quarter? Going away from the power running game and passing on first and second downs in that last drive?  (not counting Taylor's final carry, which answered my earlier question).  The D needs to make some adjustments at halftime, and the O needs to get back to what got them here: heavy doses of Kulabafi, and using Hogan as a dual threat.

This one is reminiscent of the Oregon State game.

We get a couple of quick touchdowns, then we turn around and surrender the momentum.

Not sure why we started throwing the ball every down, especially since Hogan got out of sync.

Oh well, we'll see if we can regain it in the second half.

As Shaw said, It's been the small things that cost us: the pass off the helmet, the pass tipped by Thomas, Tarpley's near interception, and 3 slightly high passes from Hogan.

That said, Ball is getting 5 yards a carry, and Phillips 8.5 yards a pass attempt, so clearly the defense needs to start plugging holes. I like our chances if the D steps up a bit, and Hogan settles again.
