When Stanford plays Cal Berkeley you will have to use 110 vs 84.

Per the $C link below, it looks like the Trojans have 6 Nobel Laureates

Let's not give them too much credit, Mick.

For what little it's worth, 3 of 5 writers at The Athletic picked Stanford against the spread (USC -9.5).
Late edit:
The 3 who picked us were Dan Santaromita, Austin Mock, and Brody Miller. The 2 who didn't were Chris Manini and Ari Wasserman.
Separate articles at The Athletic also have Mandel and Feldman picking SC against the spread in their weeklies. Again, for what little it's worth (extremely little).

It still chaps my hide that the announcers screwed up the team that scored and then screwed up the score by asking out loud of Harbaugh would go for two (when an extra point would have been enough for the win).

I swear I was going to predict SC to win, something like 55-21 until I re-watched the Stanford-Colgate game (Stanford looks a lot better on a second viewing) and the USC-Rice game.
Hats off to Mike Bloomgren and his team. I think they had a great game plan, and they came out and played hard and, I would argue, they pounded USC. They were fearless, played fast (or as fast as they could), blocked physically, ran hard, and flew to their tackles. Also a big thank you to Rice for banging USC up during what was supposed to be an “easy” warm-up game.
The big question to me is, what is the over-under for this game. Either Shaw says “we can’t stop the Air Raid, even more so with Williams and the USC receiving corps,” so let’s try to win a shootout 56-55. Or, do you say, “we can’t stop the Air Raid, even more so with Williams and USC receiving corps,” so let’s try to make each of our drives take 8 minutes, dominate the clock, and hope USC makes mistakes on a few drives (maybe an Austin Jones fumble?), and try to win 34-31.
I think Stanford can run on USC. I think Stanford can fix its mistakes and be more efficient than USC. And I think Stanford fixes its special teams woes, and, even if Stanford loses offense against offense, it racks up enough return yardage that they can find a way to win 34-31, even though Stanford cannot stop a USC Air Raid (or any Air Raid, for that matter).
Incidentally, what is the Trojan QB, Caleb Williams, thinking, lowering his shoulder play after play against Rice. RICE. If he is going to lower his shoulder 15 times a game, there is no way he makes it through the season, and so at some point this season, SC, a team which could be a playoff contender, falls apart after losing their QB.

I love to see optimism by Stanford fans the Cardinal can beat USC. I hope it's accurate.
I picked USC to win. Thus far Stanford has beaten Colgate which last year scored 3 points against Stony Brook and 7 points against William & Mary on its way to a losing season.

I mean, the mean score is still USC35, Stanford 29, which is only about a field goal from where the Vegas line is (-8.5). Individuals may be optimistic (or just wishcasting), but as a whole, it’s a pretty grounded prediction.

Let's not give them too much credit, Mick.
This was my source, although I find it entirely believable that U$C had to give up four Nobel prizes for cheating... At any rate, this source incorporates both students and professors:

Stanford's cited numbers are lower as well, but it's a pretty interesting page and worth a look:

I watched the Colgate game again yesterday, from the very beginning, with sound, and I came away much more favorably impressed as well. I predicted a high-scoring affair (Maverick McKee’s Mach Attack?) but also a Stanford win.

Caleb Williams has problems adjusting to the subdued atmosphere at Stanford Stadium. Andrew Luck, after being honored for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame, remains on the field and once again takes a job away from Tavita Pritchard, leading Tanner McKee and the Stanford offense to victory.
Stanford 38 - USC 31.

Ok, I’m confused. Is there a different place to post predictions? I posted 45-28 SC in the thread. And I’m not listed in the running tally. Don’t see Astroturfs prediction. (Which I see was 42-28 . Not bad!). So, I must not be on right thread.
There is a lot at stake here. Big bucks. So, where do you post the prediction?
