With Owusu definitely out and our biggest game thus far, both Ty and Drew need to step up in a big way. They both should be hungry and ready. Obviously Andrew can put the balls in their hands.Â
I was listening to Rod Gilmore last night and he was talking about Luck's ability to throw the extremely accurate pass based on the route being run and where the defensive player is in relation to the receiver.  He felt that Luck was unmatched in this area as well as his cerebral ability (might have used a different term). As for arm strength, he said he had spoken with a number of scouts that have analyzed all of Andrew's passes and that there is no issue with arm strength. Given that Rod played with Elway, he should know. Stated that early on in college John through some of the hardest balls that he had ever caught and even broke some fingers, but that he learned to control that speed, especially as he moved onto the NFL. Great analysis, although I wish he would be a little more pro-Stanford. He knows that this is rarified air for the Cardinal!
