I think Michigan is in pretty good shape next year. Here\'s their schedule:
vs. Connecticut
@ Notre Dame
vs. Massachusetts
vs. Bowling Green
@ Indiana
vs. Michigan State
vs. Iowa
@ Penn State
vs. Illinois
@ Purdue
vs. Wisconsin
@ Ohio State
How many wins does it take for Rich Rod to keep his job? 7? 8? We\'ll say 8 to be safe. There are at least three wins in the nonconference schedule, with only the @ Notre Dame game being remotely tricky. That leaves the Big Ten schedule--shouldn\'t Michigan be able to beat Illinois, Purdue and Indiana? That gets Rich Rod to six wins with nice chances to win against Notre Dame and Michigan State. Those are the critical Rich Rod games--otherwise you\'re hoping for an upset against Ohio State, Penn State and Iowa. Tough sledding, those games.
