I thought McKee was clearly talented and much better than West--just looking at trajectory of the balls he threw, the mechanics, the speed of his delivery, etc.  I also imagine that he will get better with more reps and more in-game experience.  I thought he looked like he had more (unrealized) potential than West and that he might develop well.

Agreed.  I watched San Jose State vs. USC a few hours later, and I thought SJSU's QB Starkel looked considerably better than both of them.  But again, I'd reserve judgment until McKee plays a game that isn't at 9 a.m. body clock time.
