Clearly an excellent player who has adapted well to the college game and has a lot to offer. At this point (especially with the environment these last two years and the Olympics figure skating fiasco) emotional/mental health and happiness need to be front and center.
I feel I just have to respond here to the "much better school academically" . . . comment. Yes, Stanford is clearly at the top academically in the Pac-12, but Berkeley is right up there as well. (Sorry, rapid Cards, but that's the truth). Decades ago, when I was deciding where to apply to college, OSU definitely was not on my list even though both my parents were on the faculty there. Stanford, of course, was on my list. But OSU has changed dramatically academically in recent years with the addition of its Honors College. If TVO could have been admitted to Stanford, she probably would have qualified for the Honors College, and that's a top notch program, highly selective and very demanding. I know people who have graduated from it, including children of a Stanford grad, and they speak VERY highly of it. Basketball-wise, well I can definitely agree with that. Stanford has Tara!
