Here's another indicator of how in love with the three we are on O: we had a measly 10 assists on our 24 baskets. So there was a lot of hero ball being played out there. Not much good passing to get one's teammate in position for a high percentage shot. (For contrast, UW had 12 assists on its 24 baskets.) Our saving grace is revealed by the TO column. We had only 9 turnovers whereas UW had 19.

Our low number of assists was mostly because we missed shots. We missed a lot of layups that would have been assists (+3?) and if we made our regular percentage of 3's (35.1%) most of those would have been via assists (+3.5). Our season average is 15.4 so we'd be right there if we made the shots we usually make.

Yep, sometimes the shots just don't go down. We will be fine, though Jump seems a bit troubled by her inaccuracy. Trust the %. It will, however  be interesting when we get to the Elite 8 and play a team with two quick guards who are given a good scout.
