To blame Barcs is just silliness. If he left when they went on probation, they would be no where. But that type of attitude is exactly why smart 5 star talent should opt for other programs.
But it is true Barcs weaknesses were exposed against Stanford.
He is slow. He is not mobile. He is not accurate on the run. And he is easily confused by complex defensive schemes.
And FWIW - I doubt he will be the NFL #1 pick now because those are weakness that are very hard to accept in a number 1 overall pick.
I will forever remember him for getting crushed time after time on that last SC drive. He had every right to be flustered because the line protection was terrible. No run game and no pass protection are a tough combo. But hey, leave it to SC fans to focus on the glamour position rather than the real problem area.
Oh, come on. You're as bad as the SC fans. This wasn't a case of SC's offense being bad, it was a case of Stanford's defense being really good.
