This may well end up being 100% correct, but some events from the last 10 days reinforce that the fog of war is real. Why was Zelenskyy apparently safer than the Russian major general on this battlefront? How much did Ukraine really withdraw from Severodonetsk, and how much was a ploy to set up the apparent counterattack this last weekend (that seems to have succeeded to some extent and took out that Russian major general)? How much success has Ukraine really achieved it halting Russia's breakout from Popasna versus how much is Russia just pausing to solidify its logistics before advancing on more terrain?
