I'm just not seeing the metaverse.  It seems to be a solution in search of a problem.  There will be some use cases (mostly games), but I just don't believe that the demand is there.

I may be getting old.  I am sure there were lots of takes like that about the internet in the late 90's, so I am prepared to be wrong about the above statement.
