Yes she does if other good coaches say, “Haley, Cam and Hannah will not beat me, so I will make sure that Lepolo and Agnes take every offensive shot.”

Shutting down those three will be difficult under any circumstances, since those three can score inside and outside and everywhere in between.  Having a single player sag off the point guard to double up on those three will only work on one or at most two.  I think what you would have to do would be to play a zone + 1 on Jump, choking the middle and daring the other guards to shoot from outside.  But Haley and Cam could also come outside to shoot, too, making that strategy not as effective as it would have been in the era of McCall, for example.

However, I take your point.  We will be much stronger against the likes of South Carolina if Lepolo and Emma-Nnopu each start to show more offense.  But what about this lineup, which gives us 4 legitimate simultaneous scoring threats plus a spectacular ball distributor:

4. Brink
3. Jones
2. Jump
1. Lepolo

I take it you would prefer this instead:

4. Brink
3. Jones
2. Jump
1. Nivar
