Same question for me as well.  Also, that stat can't mean too much given the next two after Emma-Nnopu are Papadaki and Green, who did not play much and played very late in the game when seemed like SDSU was scoring more, not less.  It would surprise me that Nivar was rated a poor defender.  Sure did not look that way.

Sorry about that everyone. The numbers are correct, but my interpretation was reversed (I got it mixed up with stop % where higher is better). So, according to the analytics, Emma-Nnopu did not have a good defensive game and Nivar looks great all around. And a great defensive number for Bosgana too!

No worries!  Appreciate the info.  These advanced stats flummox me sometimes too.
