We have a Hall of Fame Coach of course but certainly no one here thinks strong point guard play has been a hallmark of Stanford’s program for the last 40 years or so with few exceptions. Certainly some criticism is warranted. All I am saying is that the Marta-led Notre Dame team resulted in Muffet crying publicly several times and her eventual retirement. Whatever you think of Muffet, she produced some of the most dynamic and beautiful offensive teams in WBB history, and not even her brilliant offensive mind could engineer an offensive juggernaut with a non-shooting point guard.
