We lead 18-17 after one quarter.
Jones can frustrate and amaze within a span of a couple minutes. She attempted a low-percentage 3-pointer (missed) and then an ill-advised pass, but then followed it up with a reverse layup and scrambled for a loose ball leading into an Iriafen basket.
Interesting that Tara took three starters out in the middle of the quarter (Brink, Iriafen, and Jones) and let Belibi, Bosgana and Prechtel play the bulk of the second half of the first.
We had some bad turnovers and the Bruins are hot from three-point range. Also felt that we did not battle for some 50/50 rebounds as much as I had hoped too.
