Time will tell on Madsen, but I wish him luck; I hope he is successful.

He’s gonna need it. If you think the AD and Administration is a problem at Stanford it pales to what is going on at Cal.
I do not get the need to get all hyped up about the woulda, coulda, shoulda in men's basketball. Did Muir make a mistake, most probably, will he learn from his mistake, who knows, but doubtful. At this point I think those of us who are serious fans of Stanford Basketball should focus on a few things at this point, will Spencer get into a graduate program and decide to return to Stanford for his last year and will Harrison elect to return for a 3rd year? If we get at least one of those two back we will probably have the best starting 5 since Haase got here and there would be no excuse for not making the NCAA. Failing that he has to be gone, but right now we should focus on what gives us the chance to have the best possible team next season. I don't see hoping for failure as sensible approach to any endeavor.
Also congrats to Angel and M. Jones for making Academic All American. Its an achievement worth noting.
If you have to focus on what is wrong at Stanford, there are people much farther up the management ladder you should focus on replacing.
