He's a captain for SMU, but the Ponies are severly underpforming expectations as they're tied late in the second quarter with a Nevada team that's been woeful for years.
UPDATE: Nevada up by a touchdown at halftime. I can't stand SMU, so I'm definitely rooting for what would be the biggest upset of the day according to Vegas (SMU was favored by 27.5 points).
Now Nevada leads 24-13 with just over 3 min to go in the 3rd quarter
Don't know how this game is going to end. Nevada's last TD drive was greatly aided by two SMU penalties, including a personal foul for spitting that gave the Wolfpack a first down on a fourth and long. But I've seen enough to say that Stanford should have a real chance for a win on Oct. 19 against SMU.
Stanford is playing 5 of the 7 top teams in the ACC, with SMU #7. Maybe a realistic shot at 4-4 in the conference.
