What do you all think? Is this a feature of the offense, or a bug?  That's a lot of yards for a few wins. Even if they win out, this is at best a mediocre season. Of the Card's 3,249 yards, Daniels' 515 rushing yards represents 16 percent. That isn't outlandish, but it isn't what recent history suggests is a winning strategy.  In other words he's not getting these yards only because there is no other way to move the ball, but no one thinks this is a consistently good offense. (Before checking the numbers, I thought it would be a higher percentage. Granted, he represents 38% of Stanford's rushing attack, which is probably far higher than anyone wants. Plus, he hasn't played every snap of every game.)

In 2010 Luck's 453 rushing yards were 7 percent of the total offense's 6,142 yards.  Great season.

In 2009 Luck's 354 rushing yards were 6 percent of the total offense's 5,559 yards.  Good season.

In 2013 Hogan's 355 rushing yards were 6 percent of the total offense's 5,675 yards. Great season.
