I recall a number of WVB parents telling me the assistant coach Corlett would tell them exactly how many AP/honors classes had to be taken each year to satisfy admissions. It was stressed taking the AP classes was even more important than the grade (A or B). Corlett would get into the weeds of each potential recruit's high school course offerings. If the high school did not offer AP classes, that was not held against the applicant. My guess someone on the WBB staff does the same thing as Corlett did.

Add some East Coast snow and ice and the trip could take days. Then there is the three hour time difference and a major difference in climate and temperature. Talk about a home court advantage!
