Down eleven and Paye calls a time out early in the 3rd.  The game has not been lost yet, but it feels bad.  Can Bosgana put it in high gear and "go off?"  We need something like that, some outrageously good performance to turn this around.  Bosgana has 0 points so far.

Umeh's inability to move with the spin moves of more agile opposing posts was put on display.  She is improving, but she can be victimized on defense.  And she is 1-3 with 2 turnovers so far.  I expect she will make a lot of improvement by her sophomore year.

Ogden is having one of her better games.  9 points on 4-7 so far.

Demetre and Bosgana still non factors halfway through the 3rd quarter.  With those two going cold and our star out, the game is going about as one would expect.

A 7-0 run closes it to a 4 point deficit and VT calls a time out.  We are struggling, but VT is not a superior team.

Giving up that final layup as time ran out in the 3rd was really bad.

We scratched back to make it a two point game, but the VT lead is back to 7 going into the 4th.  We are not seeing the contributions from Bosgana and Demetre we need.  Clardy and Ogden are doing their parts.  Our seniors are 2-9.
