Stanford up by five with 6:29 left in the first half. Honestly, it's just fun to see two good teams play with a lot of intensity (and one of them is Stanford)!
Stanford up by six at the half. I think it's been an impressive offensive output but I'm most excited about the defensive effort by Stanford, which has greatly contributed to the 9 turnovers for the Ponies. Also, SMU's big man Yigitoglu only has two points; last time, he was SMU's leading scorer with 17.
That said, Stanford shot 60%(!), and it's only a two-possession game. Still, proud as a fan to see the team start out playing its best in such a meaningful game.
