Not impressed by anything Stanford did other than a couple of backs can run. They should portal out to a decent team soon enough. Roush is not good. Gulbranson is sub-awful. So I guess he's beaten Stanford twice so far in his career. Unless Brown is utter crap, Reich will lose the team if he keeps him on the field. Remember Reich is a sub-.500 coach. Very unimpressed with whatever that was from the booth and sideline.
Lex is mad at the Yalie and that was idiotic, but Stanford lost because they just aren't good, then choked, then folded. Slow, small, and stupid is no way to go through a season.
Wow, has Stanford hit rock bottom. A one-legged QB ran circles around them when it counted. I can see four-figure attendance at home games, and while I'll watch them in Charlottesville from the Hoo student section, I kind of wish that wedding broke so that we were at the FSU game instead.
Stanford football's future comes down to whether Luck has it and is embarrassed into fixing it, or embarrassed into quitting. Given that he came to Stanford off of 1-10 I'll bet on the former. Nothing changes until Stanford gets some talent and that will take overpaying.
Hard team to watch.
Son's text said it all. "How bad must Brown be?"
Ripped the words out of my mouth. Uninspired, slow football all the way around except for a few nice flashes from the RB’s. Hard to get excited when you know your head coach has no investment past this season.
I can’t think of more than 2-3 players on this squad that a serious power five team would want.
