I'm sad that the coaches failed the players.
The final touchdown drive for Stanford: 20 plays, 85 yds, 9:37 min starting from the STAN15.

Instead of running out the clock or gaining a first down, we gifted Hawai'i 1:45 and the ability to walk-off the game on a FG. We didn't really continue hammering that gassed Hawai'i run defense. Woody Hayes had something to say about what happens when you pass the ball, and for certain QBs, it really does hold true. Hawai'i gifted us three incomplete turnovers but decided to cash in on one. The coaches should have known to stop playing with fire, imo. Enough of them were here last season to remember, and BG's floor does seem very AD-like, though without the rushing upside.
I don't think we have a special teams coach listed. We have a senior special teams quality control analyst, but that's it for special teams, it seems. And Emmet Kenney had a 34-yd FG attempt blocked. Thirty-four yards. Special teams seems like a really important phase of the game, but what do I know. I'm sure the coaches have it handled.
