I guess that goal was called back for offsides per the match write up. Sorry, If it takes that long it wasn’t conclusive. Also, terrible on field communication by the referee, and the placement of the ball made it look like it was a foul on Banks. More generally, he couldn’t handle the second half intensity. Cards erratic. Fouls erratic. Fouls ended 15:7 and cards 3:0 against Stanford somehow, and we had announcers commenting that they thought the ref was mad at Stanford. All sadly normal on the west coast.

I think there should be a time cap for reviews in all sports, if you cannot find something to overturn the play in a couple of minutes they should let the call stand.

I agree. A referee cannot spend that much time reviewing clips and say that was conclusive. It appeared as the ref’s intention was to over turn the call so he just kept on with the review. He kept rewatching videos because he was not sure. Call stands and move on
