1:0 Stanford - de Flores from Cleary who got around the corner and had a nice short cross. Stanford had most of the ball and lots of shots, but not a lot of good chances. Some scrambling defending at the end and the late odd whistles broke some Stanford momentum. USF defended well and no Islam hurt the offense.
Weird officiating performance. I thought he was very good pre goal. A little tight, but he adjusted to USF falling over when somebody breathed on them. Then he lost the plot post goal. Breathing became a foul on Stanford, and I have no idea what merited a card or a foul. Compare the high kick fouls and figure out why one was a card and one wasn’t. The USF guy ducked into Allen, but that is irrelevant - it’s the same play. Very odd.
