imo our starting line-up of lara, nunu, courtney has decent size. at 6'3" to 6'4", depending who's listing, lara doesn't get pushed around. perhaps she knocks opponents down too often, but she's big and strong.
This. Honestly, I have started to get a chuckle out of the times she's vaguely flattened a defender, been called for the foul, and had this completely innocent "who, me?!" look, or, if she knows she messed up, she's grab her cheeks like "oh gosh sorry!" She's very quickly becoming my favorite current era player simply because she's so expressive on court, and totally fearless. It's a great combo, something prior Stanford greats like Wiggins, Chiney, and Brink all had.
Somfai made a comment in the postgame interview about how she was getting called for fouls that wouldn't have been called in Australia. I remember Alanna Smith had the same issue at first until she adjusted to NCAA refereeing.
