If you have been paying attention that is exactly what has happened. As she has gotten more comfortable with the system, she’s played more. She’s had over 20 minutes in three out of the last five games, including season highs of 28 against Cal and Duke. She still disappears for large swaths of games (including, for example, the first half of the Cal game), and she needs to get stronger and get better at positioning (especially for rebounds, where her production is under what you’d expect for someone her size), but as her game has improved, Paye has been putting her in for longer and longer stretches.
She has already cracked the top-5 in offensive PRPG!, though her defense is a bit behind (seventh on the team). She’s in for about 33% of available minutes, 7th on the team. I get the impatience because of her high ceiling, but in my opinion, she has been made to earn her minutes and has responded well to the challenge.
