After all, garvin ditched his cool gig at the Stanford Daily and that worked out for him and the Daily. Garvin and I differ on Flemming. I liked his broadcasts, but really only listened when TV wasn't available or the TV network put on their special stupid crew. To me, of the Flemming/Husak Stanford broadcast team, Husak was delivering the best value, but that had more to do with subject matter and his role in the duo.
Also, we have just GOT to infiltrate Stanford guys into the upper echelons of sports broadcasting. Rod Gilmore seems trapped in the second tier games.
