As disgusting as it is, Incognito's behavior is probably more excusable than Martin's in the NFL. To me this case is all a matter of degree; Incognito was doing stuff that happens all the time in the NFL, but pushed it over the edge. The n-word will probably be what hurts him the most, but if you watch any locker room video, like the Prince Amukamara hazing video from a year ago, you'll hear it like every 5th word.
It's shameful, but Martin will be marked for this for the rest of his career. Fairly or not, he's been branded as a wuss and a rat. Incognito is just a dumb, ignorant meathead, and there is plenty of room for that in the NFL.
Hopefully Moose finds a good situation; I'm sure Harbaugh would love to get him on the cheap. If not at least he has that Stanford degree to fall back on.
