Of course it did. The $18 million for 15 years equates to just over $1 million per season (everything over probably the cost of the firm), or about $150,000 per game if you consider Cal plays about 6.5 home games per season over the length of the deal.
And Cal gets to put a Bomb logo on its field too! A Stanford fan couldn't have drawn up a more embarrassing logo that would actually get put on the CMS field. Cal, as it usually does, did it to itself.
There isn't enough space here to illustrate how embarrassing this whole thing is, on so many levels.
