I wouldn't say our defense is overrated whatsoever, but of course I'm biased. However, the talking heads on ESPN have been saying it all year and are continually proven wrong. We gave up some yards to OSU, but that offense is nothing like Stanford. We've had some success over the years playing Wisconsin, although we didn't face them this season. From what I've seen this season I would give you guys the edge for overall D-line play, but I think we have the advantage in the secondary and maybe 2 out of 3 of the linebacker spots.

I worry about MSU stopping that crazy personnel package you run with tons of offensive linemen, since the middle of our D line is probably the weakest link on the defense.
