I'd bet if you are patient you can get StubHub tickets for roughly face value by a day or two before the game. (The high demanders will have not chosen to travel to L.A.)

So far, Stubhub prices are behaving exactly like last year (sucker-high prices initially then dropping in mid-December). The supply will significantly increase and prices will drop once people receive their paper tickets over the next couple of days. Last year, prices were at their low on December 23rd; Repeating, I think that the sweet spot to buy your Stubhub tix will be between December 20th through Christmas. Once the overnight delivery constraint slashes the Stubhub supply (last year on December 27th), prices will go up again.

Last year surprisingly, there was not much of a desperation sale in the last two days on Stubhub nor Craigslist.
