I also recall how he smoothly ran a no-huddle offense vs UCLA, especially in a tension-packed Q4. Schonert got red hot vs SC and Dowhower told Elway he was sticking with him in Q4--#7 had no objections. Schonert's numbers were largely spectacular from the SC game forward.
