I just remembered that I set up a poll prior to the UW game that requested predictions for the Stanford RB that would score the team's first rushing TD of the season.
We had to wait an extra week, but the winner is Remound Wright, as predicted by the collective wisdom of the CARDBoard (but not yours truly).
Of course, the fact that it took until the fourth quarter of game 5 for a running back to score a rushing TD is a sign of one of several offensive shortcomings for the team.

If there's one thing people have learned in Berkeley, it's that you can't put "Cal football" and "Rose Bowl" in the same sentence. The words just don't fit. You'd be better off linking "covered wagons" with "Mars travel." (Bruce Jenkins, Cal '70, SF Chronicle, Nov. 11, 2017)
