The WVB bracket will be announced tomorrow. I was looking at the regional locations (Ames, Louisville, Minneapolis and Seattle) and shuddered at the thought that Stanford and UW might be placed in the Seattle regional. While both teams are top 4 and should be in separate regions, this would fit the NCAA pattern of a) trying to minimize travel expenses and b) screwing over Stanford.
I exaggerate only slightly. I am fully prepared for Stanford to be underseeded, sent several time zones away and/or forced to play on the home court of an opponent because we see it often. What is the most likely location? Minneapolis?
