I was there in person today, as my BYU alum father came to visit me for the game, and the schadenfreude was almost as satisfying to me as the happiness i felt because of BYU's win. To see everyone around us deflate from the intense excitement of having 1st and goal with 30 seconds after marching down the field to... Season Over was priceless. And speaking of things deflating, the giant bear head was punctured as they moved it into place for the team to run through. By the time they came out, it was off to the side as an amorphous blob with ears. It was a delightful image.

I do wish it could wake me from the nightmare in which BYU's little brother follows me to the PAC 12 and beats us twice in a row...

Also, fun fact: after today's game, Cal's defense has surrendered both more passing yards and more passing touchdowns than any team in FBS history. Lol.
