ESPN is reporting that Charlie Weis ,  currently the OC for the KC Chiefs, is the new OC for the Florida Gators under Muschamp.    I wonder if Muschamp bought Weis\'  line about "distinct schematic advantage"  when he was calling the plays.   Which would mean,  Charlie couldn\'t recruit worth beans if his players had a distinct schematic advantage and still floundered.

Fat Man?  I thought you were referring to Hal Mickelson.  It would be wonderful to have him back as band announcer for a special occasion like the Orange Bowl.

KC Chiefs, divisional champion.  Dunno how he did it, not using Dexter McCluster all that much and with an inconsistent QB and iffy receiving corps.  Helps to have Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones in the backfield though I guess.

On TV yesterday they said it was a done deal.   Now their headline story is he has been approached and offered by Florida.   Yet within that story the done-deal report continues to live on.

Go figure.   Leaving the rejuvenated Chiefs doesn\'t compute in many ways,  so who knows where this merry go round will stop?

Spiney don\'t know where you live or if you were there.  But last year at a Council of Chiefs, IIRC pre Sun Bowl, or maybe pre cal, Hal was there and leading us in cheers.  A fantastic person.
