But I'll add another name to the list for consideration - Jerod Haase.  Former Cal player who transferred to Kansas after freshman year.  Former assistant under Roy Williams.  Currently coach at UAB.  His team upset Iowa State last year in the NCAA tournament before losing to UCLA.  This year they were 26-6 before losing in their conference tournament.

We should be my guess is he already makes about the same or more than Shaw and there's no way Muir is going to shell out like that.  Same story for Gregg Marshall at Wichita St he mades over $3M/year.

If Muir hires anyone but a proven/winning head coach, then I will be extremely disappointed and will NOT be getting back in the overpriced racket that is Stanford season tix for men's hoops.  There are many to choose from and who would love moving to the Pac 12 and Stanford, in particular.

No fliers on Stanford alums with no HC experience; no "has been" coaches (like Lavin, who wasn't any good anyway).  Please!
