OK. I exaggerate a bit about SC. There will be great breaks given because it's SC and the loss is to Alabama. Still, I don't think a close game would look good on playoff resume and a loss would be deadly. Of course, I don't care so much about playoffs as long as Stanford can win the league.

Shoot, Oklahoma struggled with Tennessee and lost to Texas last year and made it into the playoffs.

That number is so high that I wondered whether it was some kind of record. Nope. In 2014, Cal gave up 751 yards against WSU.

Yes I am.  I have to admit that yesterday I awoke pleased we won, yet seriously concerned about the O-line, lack of Love, and injury to Phillips.  I remain concerned, yet also know that we seems to have a history of figuring things out as the season progresses, and we have a lot of overall speed & talent.  Here's to 2 weeks of productive practice!
