I think that SDSU and Boise State are both in the running for the Mountain West championship game, so that could mean three more games for McNichols and/or Pumphrey.

I believe that the single-game all-purpose yards record is 578. That ought to do the trick.

Peppers is a bit overrated on defensive side of the ball. Not good in coverage (was thrown over top twice against Colorado when he went back as safety in his hybrid role) and is too small as a LB. The Michigan CB is a much better player.

If he hadn't missed a game and got to say 2750 APY, he would be just outside the top 10 best seasons of all time. It's an interesting list, with a bunch of stars and a bunch of no-names. Barry Sanders and Marcus Allen are the only ones near the top of the list who ever won that H-thingy award.
